Our Principal Robert B. Witt

A CPA since 1979, founder Bob Witt has worked extensively with new business startups, helping more than 100 early stage companies launch their businesses. In this work he has served as interim CFO for companies ranging in size from $2M to $50M.

Earlier in his career Bob held key positions in leading multinational corporations, as Chief Information Officer for Oracle Corporation, Sequent Computers (IBM) and BP Oil US. At British Petroleum he built the financial systems that enabled BP to compete in the European Community.

Recent Engagements

Bob’s experience in San Diego spans a wide variety of industries and missions, from defense to non-profits, from financial systems to sales strategies. His successes include:

• Implemented a DCAA compliant accounting and timekeeping system for a mid-size government contractor.
• Served as Interim CFO for a $33M non-profit.
• Performed all Due Diligence for a $100M sports apparel company acquisition.
• Represented numerous clients before the IRS with tax savings of up to $50,000.
• Designed Information Systems for internet product offerings of a mid-sized consulting companion; advised the executive team on sales strategies for these systems-based products and assisted with sales calls and product implementation.
• Built business plan and financial models to secure venture capital with ultimate goal of an Initial Public Offering.
